In the year 1981, ITM was founded in Westport, Connecticut and began by using innovative ideas to improve the quality and production value of application driven grinding machines.  By 1992, ITM had outgrown the original facility in Westport and moved to Palm Coast, Florida to better meet the increasing global demand for high value production grinding machines.  In 1996 the ITM Germany office was opened to help coordinate the service.

International Tool Machines has enjoyed a successful history producing precision computer controlled grinding machines for satisfied clients across the globe.  ITM develops the machine concepts, the software, and assembles the machines including all the required electronics.  The entire development and design of all ITM products is done using the most up to date computer technology by highly experienced engineers.
